Whar is IEEE MCBU Robotics And Automation Society?

IEEE Manisa Celal Bayar University Student Branch Robotics&Automation Society a technical committee that provides opportunities for the person to be directly involved in the sector in basic engineering issues by contributing to the technical, social and professional development of the person. The main purpose is to enable members who are interested in robotics and hardware projects to develop their own knowledge and skills by being involved in these projects, and to gain competence in the social field with project presentations.

The committee is addresses the engineering issues like robotic, automation, electric, electronic, mechanic. In that case it shelters the technical projects, educations, workshops, the meetings that has a aim about increase the collaboration of the industry and student, tea-talks and seminars.

The projects like Robotic Arm, EKG Device, Biomechanic Hand are the projects that contribute our team and the other members about technical topics, in the background with also our education and workshops it provides the opportunity about consolidate our achievements either theoretical and applied.

Robotic Coding

It is to ensure that the machines are in communication thanks to all the necessary software codes in the common working place, which generally includes each of the machine and control system, electronics, computer and space sciences.

IoT

It is a communication network in which physical objects are connected with each other or with larger systems.

Industry 4.0

It is a set of systems consisting of three stages, namely the Internet of Things, the services of the Internet, and the cyber-physical systems. With Industry 4.0, which will bring the new world order, all of the production and living areas will have smart equipment and the systems will work in an integrated manner.

Automation

It is the sharing of a job between human and machine. Automation systems with intensive manpower are called semi-automation, and systems with intensive machinery are called full automation.

Our Events

Events we organize within IEEE MCBU RAS

Basic Electronics and Proteus Training, Electronic Circuit Design Workshop

Flip-Flop designs were carried out with a simple circuit design, together with the basic training given to our participants, starting from the differences between electricity and electronics, and soldering in practice.

SolidWorks and 3D Printer Education

After the SolidWorks and 3D Printer trainings given at the basic level in our event, which we held in partnership with IEEE MCBU EA, the prints taken with the 3D Printer during the event were presented to our participants.

IOTECH

Organized for the third time in Manisa Celal Bayar University Ümit Doğay Arınç Cultural Center on 24 March 2022; it is our traditional technology-based event, dealing with IoT, 5G, Industry 4.0, dark factories, telecommunication and artificial intelligence, also the event that is hosted the top-level speakers from leading companies in the industry.

Chairwoman of Committee

Hello, my name is Zehra Özeren. I am the 2nd year computer engineering student. To improve and keep pace with the necessity of the developing world, in my first year of the university, I joined the IEEE family. I started my IEEE role as vice president of the IEEE MCBU Robotics&Automation Society last year, and this year I continue as Chairwoman. Besides, in addition of my roles in the last year, I interfered the role of IOTECH Coordinator that occupies a large place in my self-development. Thanks to this mission I improved my quick and effective decision making, analytical thinking and coordination skills.
